Designed in 2018 by Timon and Melchior Grau — the first original luminaire by Tobias Grau’s sons — Parrot is a fully portable, cable-free floor lamp that treats light as something you can carry, reshape, and live with. Its silhouette is an abstraction of the human figure: a slender body, generous feet, and a thin, sun-like head that rests tangentially on the stem. Inspired in part by Giacometti’s walking figures, it changes expression with every height, tilt, and turn.
Move it from sofa to desk, bedside to studio. There is no cord to pin it down. Charge it on the included Smart Charge stone and take it wherever the evening goes.
This is the original Parrot — height-adjustable stem, tilting head, powder-coated aluminium finishes — not the 2025 revised Parrot Floor with the endlessly rotating head and Sunset functions.
