The unusual material used for the shade – ceramic foam – gives the Reef family its inimitable character. With its cell-like structure the material has very special light characteristics and extraordinary design qualities: Switched on, the shade shimmers in gentle, atmospheric light that is diffused in a subdued manner throughout the space. From the opening in the shade, however, light is emitted directly at an extremely wide, bright, shadow-free angle.
In the LED versions of the luminaire family the elegant design meets sustainable high-end technology and high energy efficiency. With its brilliant light and wide radiation angle, Reef Suspension LED is predestined to illuminate long tables and is the first choice for dining tables and –when lined up – for counters. For Reef Suspension 1 LED (with one shade) special canopies with cable duct are now available as accessories, enabling two or three luminaires to be mounted with only one ceiling outlet.
Note: shade with bayonet joint easily replaceable and dishwasher safe
