The frame of this mirror consists of MDF in a black satin finish. It is a MDF plate in which the spaces for the mirror parts have been cut out. In this case, the mirrors are not beveled. The mirror consists of 7 separate mirror pieces, the central one being the biggest. Due to the shape and the position of the frame plus the place of the mirror parts, one gets the impression that this is a cube although it is completely flat. It is a delusion that plays with the observation and reflection. Although it can be used as a normal mirror, it is in fact far more a decorative object that can be used in every room. And due to the neutral colour, it fits in both a contemporary and a more classical interior. It can be used as one single piece but it works stronger in a combination, the composition of which can be very surprising in an optical way, because the mirror can be hung in 4 different directions.
Deknudt Mirrors has been passionate about manufacturing mirrors since 1946. Located in the region of Flanders in Belgium (Europe), Deknudt knows that creating a mirror requires workmanship, together with a full mastery and knowledge of the technical procedures involved.
