One of the bestsellers of Deknudt Mirrors collection is the Oxide mirror. In order to offer the possibility to use this beautiful mirror in a smaller space, we decided to bring a smaller version. Just like the larger model, Oxide S plays with contrasts : it is an old threadbare carpet in a tight new appearance. A game of old and new… of transparent and reflecting. Although the mirror is full of transparent holes, the functionality of the mirror remains. Due to the small transparent spaces, one can see the wall through the mirror whereas the central part still functions as a regular mirror. To be used perfectly as a mirror but intriguing at the same time by its atmosphere of transparence and fading drawing. This mirror plays with light and shadow, mirror and transparency. Due to the classical motive, this mirror fits better in a more classical interior although some interior designers might rightfully decide to use it in a contemporary environment. Just like the bigger model, it can only hang in 1 direction.
