With its reduced glass body in a rounded, cubic glass profile, ROD by Serien appears like a minimalist display cabinet mounted on the wall. The slight gap between the luminaire and the wall turns it into a floating, almost architectural vertical structure.

For over 35 years now Serien lighting has been a trendsetter and innovator in the field of outstanding luminaires – in terms of design, technology and production. Back in 1983, Jean-Marc da Costa and Manfred Wolf founded Serien while still design students with the aim of combining sophisticated design with intelligent lighting solutions. Designs such as REFLEX and the SML product line swiftly became favourites for architects, developers and residential use.
