ORB Pendant by Georg Bechter Licht is a minimalist spherical pendant luminaire from the SYSTEM DOT 28 family, designed by architect and maker Georg Bechter.

Precision-machined from solid anodised aluminium and suspended on a fine braided cable, this compact spherical luminaire delivers brilliant, well-controlled light while remaining almost sculptural in its restraint. It belongs to the award-winning SYSTEM DOT 28 modular family, so it integrates flush and frameless with the same architectural mounting system used for Georg Bechter’s recessed downlights. The result is lighting that feels like part of the building rather than an object added later.

Designed in 2018 and made in the Bregenzerwald, ORB 28 suits high-end residential, hospitality and heritage projects where the fixture should recede and the architecture should speak. It is the pendant counterpart to Georg Bechter’s celebrated flush-mounted dots. Simple, precise and built to last.
